The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) ReStores are nonprofit, home-improvement thrift stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. All proceeds from the ReStore sales are used toward Habitat for Humanity's mission to end substandard housing worldwide. 

ReStore Volunteers are needed every day! Help us sort through unique donated items from contractors, companies, movie & television studios and individuals. We also need help with furniture assembly, restocking shelves, maintain a clean floor inventory, and providing outstanding customer service.  

Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age (14-17-year-old's must have a signed minor waiver form before their first shift, located at the bottom of this page.)

Team service days are an excellent way to engage your organization in a meaningful group experience.  

Through our ReStore group opportunities, we engage a variety of volunteers from companies, to the entertainment industry, faith and community-based groups, as well as veterans, and active military. For groups volunteering in our ReStores, there is no sponsorship fee required. If you’re ready to get in contact with Habitat LA, fill out the group interest form below! 

 A great way to knock out those community service or major requirement hours is by volunteering in our ReStores. We also offer recommendation letters for students that volunteer in our ReStores 10 times OR up to 40 hours. Feel free to bring a friend along!
